MOTIVASI PEGAWAI DALAM MEMBERIKAN PELAYANAN KESEHATAN DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH PONGTIKU KABUPATEN TORAJA UTARA

The Regional General Hospital "Pongtiku" North Toraja Regency is one of the
government agencies that is required to have good work motivation. This is in line
with the duty of the General Hospital to carry out government duties to serve the
community in the field of health services. But in carrying out these duties, the
motivation is still lacking, such as there are still employees who are not friendly in
serving, nurses who are less professional, waiting for a long time to complete
administration, employee initiative in work is not optimal, and some employees do
not understand their duties well. The formulation of the problem is how the
motivation of employees in providing health services at the Regional General
Hospital "Pongtiku" North Toraja Regency "according to intrinsic factors and
extrinsic factors. The research objective is to determine the motivation of
employees in providing health services at the Regional General Hospital
"Pongtiku" North Toraja Regency "according to intrinsic factors and extrinsic
factors.
The research method used in this research is quantitative method with the type of
research used is descriptive. The data analysis used in this research is the
frequency table.
To find out that the intrinsic factors and extrinsic factors that a person has greatly
affect a person at work and have a major effect on their motivation. The results of
this study indicate that motivation which greatly influences employees seen from
the intrinsic factor is the responsibility accepted as evidenced by the average
score achieved is 3.90 (good), while the extrinsic factor is the interpersonal
relationship as evidenced by the average score 4.35 (very good) average.
