Abstract

In terms of job placement, the last rotation issued by the Regent
to the Education and Culture Office Paser Regency was deemed
inaccurate. This is clear because the position or structure occupied
by the employee is not entirely appropriate and not in accordance
with their field. The objective of the study was to understand the effect
of job placement on employee performance at Education and Culture
Office.
This study applied a quantitative descriptive approach. The
secondary data collected from Education and Culture Office. The
primary data collected from interview 59 civil servants.
The result of the study showed that based on the results! The
chi-square test above can be interpreted that the Pearson chi square
value for the Asymp.Sig (2- Sided) value is 0.031, because the
Asymp.Sig value0.031 <from 0.05, it can be concluded that Ha is
accepted and Ho rejected, which means that there is a significant
relationship between job placement and employee performance at
Education and Culture Office of Paser Regency.
