Abstract
Muara Karan public health centre was the main health centre but s faced a number of problems regarding the service quality Based on initial survey by interviewing patients in 2011, 75 percent said unsatisfactory about the care they received or the care did not meet their expectation.
The study applied a descriptive-quantitative method to understand the correlation between service quality and satisfaction of patients using Jamkesmas health insurance at Muara Kaman public health centre Population of the study was all patients using Jamkesmas health insurance in 2011. Using accidental sampling technique 100 patients were selected to participate as respondents in the study
The results of the study showed the quality of health service for Jamkesmas patients was generally good of satisfactory However some respondents expected the health centre to improve the service quality Therefore it was suggested that continues improvement was needed to enable deliver neath services as expected by the patents The staff should be able to deliver ickly precisely and accurately based on me staatsoperational procedures available Ano the facilities of the heath comes sold be argrovet
