STRATEGI PENCEGAHAN KEHAMILAN PADA USIA REMAJA DI PUSKESMAS BIAU KABUPATEN BUOL

The number of cases of pregnancy in adolescents was quite high,
resulting from the risky behavior of irresponsible adolescents. This is due
to the absence of correct and accurate sources of information related to
reproductive health problems. The objective of the study was to find
strategies that can be used to prevent pregnancy in adolescents in the
working area of the Biau Public Health Center. Buol Regency.
This study applied descriptive qualitative methods, to describe the
real condition. Data collected through observation, interviews, and
document review. Then the data analyzed using data analysis steps
carried out through data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions.
The results of the study showed that the promotion strategy through
print media at this time could not provide maximum results because
today's teenagers are more likely to use electronic media. The counseling
was good enough but the limited time at the time of implementation is an
obstacle so that these activities cannot be carried out optimally. It is hoped
that the establishment of youth Posyandu will become an activity that can
be a strategy in preventing pregnancy in adolescence.
